- Contact details you provide via our forms or by email — name, email, phone, postal address, project description.
- Project information shared during consultations — site details, photos, plans, budget range.
- Technical data automatically logged by our hosting provider — IP address, browser type, pages visited, timestamps. Used for security and to keep the Site running.
- To respond to your enquiry and prepare a quotation — pre-contractual steps at your request (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)).
- To deliver services under contract — design, project management, invoicing (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)).
- To meet legal obligations — accounting, tax, building permit administration (GDPR Art. 6(1)(c)).
- Legitimate interests — securing the Site, preventing fraud, occasionally featuring completed projects in our portfolio in a way that does not identify you without consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)).
We do not sell your data. We share it only with trusted parties who help us deliver our services, under written confidentiality and data-processing terms:
- Vetted subcontractors and tradespeople working on your project
- Our hosting and email providers
- Our accountant and, where required, Swiss authorities
Some providers may be located outside Switzerland or the EEA. In that case, transfers are protected by Standard Contractual Clauses or an equivalent safeguard recognised under the FADP and GDPR.
We keep enquiry data for up to 24 months after our last interaction. Project and accounting records are retained for 10 years as required by Swiss law. Technical server logs are kept for a short rolling period.
The Site uses only the strictly necessary cookies required to serve and secure pages. We do not use advertising or cross-site-tracking cookies. If we ever introduce analytics or marketing cookies, we will request your consent first via a cookie banner.
Under the FADP and, where applicable, the GDPR you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Have inaccurate data corrected
- Request deletion ("right to be forgotten")
- Restrict or object to certain processing
- Receive your data in a portable format and ask us to transmit it to another controller
- Withdraw any consent you have given, at any time
- Lodge a complaint with the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC), or with your local EU supervisory authority
To exercise any of these rights, email us at info@level5renovation.ch. We respond within 30 days.
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data — including encrypted transport (HTTPS), access controls and confidentiality undertakings with everyone who handles your data on our behalf.
We may update this notice to reflect changes in our practices or the law. The current version is always available on this page; the "last updated" date above indicates when it was last revised.
