Stefanie Ashton in her Geneva studio

A renovator's instinct, an architect's training.

I grew up in a house-flipping family in the United States. Renovation was the language of my childhood, and I started my architectural training at seventeen.

I trained and practised in New York for fifteen years, working at firms including Beyer Blinder Belle on projects that ranged from landmark restorations to elite residential interiors. I am a registered architect in New York, a chartered member of RIBA, a membre SIA, a mandataire in the Canton de Vaud, REG B in Switzerland, MPQ in Geneva, and a LEED Accredited Professional.

I founded Level 5 Renovation in 2018 to bring that training to the homes of Geneva and Vaud. Every project is led by me, from first site visit to final handover.

On her practice
I work the way I'd want my own architect to work. One person leading the project, on site every week, every decision and every cost on the table. The team and the standards stay the same whether the project is a kitchen or a villa.
